Marvin Stammel is Managing Director of the Apiando Group from Koblenz (Rhineland-Palatinate). The Apiando Group has been selling on Amazon since 2013 and internationally since 2015.

"We sell our home textiles and furniture to customers all over Europe. Exports now account for over 20% of our total turnover and are so profitable that we could basically only live from our export business," says Marvin Stammel.

Amazon enables SMEs to reach hundreds of millions of customers worldwide. Amazon offers a range of tools that SMEs can use to export their products abroad. These include, for example, global sales, marketing and delivery solutions. When using Amazon logistics in particular, this also includes customer service in the respective national language. In addition to shipping through Amazon, SMEs can also reach Amazon Prime customers with the help of "Prime by Seller". Amazon also translates hundreds of millions of product pages for SMEs every year, giving them the opportunity to enter international trade with little or no additional effort.
